This turntable is an idler drive, where a tire runs against the inner wall of the platter and a motor shaft. If the rubber is still in good condition, you can attempt to resurface the tire by abrading the contact surface with fine sandpaper. It would also not hurt to clean the inner wall of the platter and the motor shaft.
